Yummy Weekend

The semester resumed about a month ago and it was terribly cool and exhausting. The schedule was quite hard because I have my morning class every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for my TESDA Certificate and evening class from Monday to Saturday for my Bachelor's Degree. It was fun making my self too busy but of course sometimes it's tiring. Lucky enough to have a Mom who LOVES to cook, she always make simple dishes special. She was currently enrolled into a culinary arts class 'cause she wants to improve her cooking skills though it was already good. From time to time she was cooking/baking different specialties and we really love to eat those yummy foods. It was the best medicine for our tired body. This time I do not know what the word DIET means, all I know is to EAT.

This afternoon we baked Chocolate and Raisins Oatmeal Cookies and Vanilla Chiffon Cake, at the same time we found a time for bonding. It was fun to mess our dining table with flour, sugar, choco chips and butter, and many more but we made a great output. Here are some pictures that will make you crave. LOL.

Last week's menu was my all time favorite Pancit Malabon and Chicken Pastel.

I am excited to taste more of my mom's recipes. Wanna know her special ingredient? LOVE is the answer. hehe. Tiring days has no place when you taste foods that was sauteed, simmered, baked and boiled with love. :)
